The Â鶹´«Ã½ (ACS) Division of Education invites academic and industry engineers, scientists, surgeons, and surgical educators to submit abstracts for presentation at the 2025 Annual Â鶹´«Ã½Surgeons and Engineers Meeting on March 18–19 in Chicago, IL. This meeting will serve as a venue for surgeons, surgical educators, engineers, and scientists to continue the dialogue between the simulation-based surgical education and engineering communities.
The abstract submission deadline is 11:59 pm (CT), Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Authors are encouraged to submit one or more abstracts. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Â鶹´«Ã½Surgeons and Engineers Committee, and acceptance will be determined based on content, relevance, and encouragement of collaboration. Abstracts received by the deadline will be considered for either podium or poster presentation. All accepted abstracts will be notified by Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Authors whose original abstracts are accepted forÌýoral presentations may be invited to submit a full-length manuscriptÌý(due by Monday, March 31, 2025)Ìýfor consideration byÌýSurgery.ÌýIf your manuscript is selected by the Society Managing Editor, Gyusung Lee, PhD, you will be invited to submit it for possible inclusion as part of the collection of selected manuscripts from the 2025 Surgeons and Engineers meeting, which will be sent to the Editors-in-Chief ofÌýSurgery for consideration for possible publication.
