Experts agree that correct coding may be the single most important area for surgical practice improvement. However, keeping up with frequent changes in coding and billing rules can be costly and time-consuming. Therefore, as part of our ongoing efforts to support Fellows and their practices submit clean claims and receive proper reimbursement, Â鶹´«Ã½has established a coding consultation service—the Â鶹´«Ã½Coding Hotline—that Fellows and their practice staff can contact with questions related to CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding, as well as other billing-related issues.

How to Get Help

   Please note: Practice staff may submit questions to the Coding Hotline on behalf of an Â鶹´«Ã½Fellow by using the Fellow’s membership number.
3. Describe your question(s) in the text box, attach any supporting documentation (for example, de-identified operative notes, claims denials), and submit.
4. A member of the Coding Hotline staff will reach out to you via e-mail to answer your question(s).
