Commendation Corner

The Â鶹´«Ã½CPDA section encourages you to consider integrating theÌý into your educational activities. This page highlights ways to incorporate Commendation Criteria that may be helpful when planning your CME activity.

  • Engage members of interprofessional teams in the planning and delivery of educational content (Criterion 23): In addition to physicians, consider designing education with a team-based approach. This may include inviting nurses, pharmacists, social workers, pharmacists, along with physicians to plan the CME activity, in addition to presenting the educational content.Ìý
  • Engaging patients in the planning and delivery of educational content (Criterion 24): Consider including a patient representative who works with your planning committee, featuring a patient on either a panel or as a presenter, or creating communication workshops where patients provide feedback to medical professionals based on various clinical scenarios.
